RTA Group is Hiring a Lead Mechanic Near Andrews, TX

Responsible for direct supervision of 2-3 employees

• Maintain company fleet of equipment and vehicles

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment powered by gasoline, LP gas,diesel, AC electricity

• Perform preventive maintenance

• Manage equipment priorities

• Minimize downtime

• Control costs

• Work with little supervision

• Interface with all levels of co-workers

• Work with others to perform, Preventative Maintenance (PM), MajorMaintenance (MM), and Overhauls

• Proficiency in the use of all tools of trade (including weldingequipment, diagnostic equipment, hand and power tools) required

• Complete and submit company required documentation in an accurateand timely fashion

• Develop proficiency in order to perform quality, efficient work withless assistance

• Communicates effectively with customers and staff to ensure servicequality

• Contributes to a positive and inclusive work environment

• Other job duties as assigned

Requirements

General mechanical knowledge

• Experience repairing and maintaining small & heavy-duty machinery

• Experience / Preferred Skills: forklift certified, hydraulics, engine repair

• Must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Must be knowledgeable of safety practices and procedures

• Punctuality

• Problem solving and resolution skills

• Personally and professionally motivated, with initiative, drive and adesire to learn

• Strong work ethics of integrity and honesty, striving for excellence inall activities, respecting others, showing dependability, reliability andfulfilling responsibilities.

• Own full set of mechanics tools

• Ability to lift, pull, push up to 50 pounds

• Ability to work in all weather conditions

• Bending, stooping, standing for long periods of time and climbing

• High level of safety awareness
